SHORT FILM

The Brief

Create an effective marketing rollout for the short film ‘Shoebox’ to capture the themes and tone of the short film. The designs should generate intrigue and awareness in order to translate that to ticket sales.

The Approach

This project was part of my final major project for University. Working with the clients to produce a marketing rollout for their brand new short film, I created designs for the clients and then expanded the vision further for my major project. Capturing the dark comedy about a house inspection gone wrong, the house played an important role in my approach — driving every design direction. From the logo being physically squeezed into a small ‘shoebox’ sized house, to creating a press kit in the form of a real estate brochure, reinforcing the comedy of the film.
