Tom Bruce

Hello, my name is Tom and I am a Communication Designer working in posters, publications and digital media. I have a special interest in working with filmmakers, musicians and other creatives to help communicate their art across both printed and digital media. I am a strong believer that identity and personality are the most important ingredients when it comes to design, and I want to hear your story.

I have a Bachelor of Design majoring in Communication Design with a minor in Industrial Design so I know how to set the scene. I also have a background in Film and Television so I understand the deeply personal process behind your art. Where I come in is being able to tell your story in a snapshot to capture an audience whose attention spans are getting shorter and being constantly yelled at by a hundred other artists every time they open Spotify or Netflix. My goal is to turn those people into either bums in seats or dancing feet.

“But I’m not a filmmaker or musician! Can I still work with you because I like your stuff?” you may say. To that I say: oh thank you! But then I say: that is perfectly fine! In fact, I encourage it. Everybody has a story to tell and whether you have that vision as clear as day or you want me to write one for you, we will work together to come to the right ending for your story.
